Were they allowed to pray in Al-Aqsa??
Women 45 or over are allowed to pass through the checkpoint (Kalandia is a big checkpoint near me) on Fridays for Jummah. Men have to be 50 or older. Oh, and they also have to be married. Women 35-44 who are married might also get a permit in advance to go, but that has to be applied for in advance.
Is it my imagination, or do the Israeli soldiers actually appear to be taking pleasure in this mess, denying people to pray? It's as if whatever they can do to make the Palestinians lives more miserable, they do it. Sick.
I noticed the smile on the soldier's face too. In all honesty, he may have just smiled because someone was pointing a camera at him. Most of the young soldiers usually look bored and like they would rather be anywhere else.
Everytime I see your pictures, the following happens: I either get goosebumps or big tears sit right on the tip of my eyelashes....

I loved how the photographer got the "I'm not a terrorist" graffiti in the background. It's clearer in the large size.
